hello once again, I am here to let you know that this blog is still some what active. my mind has been cluttered with random stuff and i have been Slacking on updates as to what is going on with the art from this boy Tate. Yeah, I'm late on posting but I don't care, I do what i want. I must say I was kinda let down when I seen the cover, I was expecting... a little more actually but whatever its Red, Red is my favorite color, So.. I guess it can get a pass.
June 28th is the "official date" that's what I was told about may 3rd and June 14th but yeah we will see what happens. It will be crazy once it hits stores, to actually see it sitting on shelves, plus having been keeping up with his music since day 1, and watching his growth, it shall be grand

Monster Inspired Artwork
Kanye West monster Inspired Artwork, I created these works of art a while back, mainly around the time the song Monster by Kanye West Feat. Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj, Jay-Z and Bon Iver was released. I thought it would be nice to actually post the full faced pictures without anything covering them, as they were once only shown with an available now stamp from the Unusual Minds Store, but i now have posted them for you viewing enjoyment.

My latest artwork, It has been a bit delayed due to other projects I have been working on, but I finally got around to finishing it. In this work i wanted to give a more literal meaning to Soulja Boy's name, by depicting him wearing a soldiers helmet and face paint. Just like the Monster Artwork this was also made as an 18 x 24in image

for most people this song was introduced to them while watching Afro Samurai. and for the longest time, nobody has been able to find the actual song. i even took the time to recreate the beat as best i could for everyone out there looking for the song to enjoy. and now here it is. not the best quality in the world, but a lot better than the partial lyrics you get while watching Afro Samurai. WOOT!! pretty happy.

wow its 2011, made it to another year, what a joy. well a new year calls for new things. I've Decided to deactivate my facebook and actually post on my blog for a change. Facebook doesn't really excite me much anyways, so its not all bad. so now like the only way to reach me is on twitter. not that its any better than facebook. but yeah. *kanye shurge*
I've been focusing more on my artwork. what i want to do next and such, currently working on Printing up some posters for my Kanye Monster inspire pieces, with the help of my sister. she is always on top of business oriented stuff, i read up on some things here and there but I am mainly creating new works. so its a good balance.
Seen the Proofs for the poster a few days ago, everything looks in place. I can't wait to see the actual poster in the physical, excitement its everywhere. perhaps when they arrive i will return to the book of faces to promote them. for all the facebookers out there. so yeah. that is about it really. i shall be sure to update the blog more. oh yeah. up dates.... they are cool.
